General Terms and Conditions

Our General Terms and Conditions (T&C) are the basis of the contract between you and us. You have deemed to have accepted out T&C when you make your reservation. Our reservation and commercial terms correspond to the provisions of the Guest Accommodation Contract of the German Association of Hotels and Restaurants (DeHoGa):

Accommodation contracts are subject to §§ 70 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB) and theprovisions of the German Civil Code that refer to the general law of obligation. Unilateral cancellation of the contract is not permitted.

The accommodation contract is concluded as soon as accommodation, other rooms, goods and/or services have been ordered and the order has been confirmed orally or in writing.

Following the conclusion of the accommodation contract, both parties are obliged to fulfil the terms of the contract. The contract can only be cancelled for good cause.

Reservation dates are binding for both parties.

The hotel is obliged to provide the room(s) booked and the agreed services ordered by the guest. The guest is not entitled to demand provision of any specific individual room(s).

Pets may be accommodated on request.

Smoking is not permitted in any hotel room. In the event of an infringement, a flat fee of 150.00 € will be charged for cleaning and loss of use of the room.

Arrival: the reserved room will be available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, or earlier if agreed in advance. Reserved rooms will be held until 6 p.m. and subsequently re-let unless a later arrival time has been explicitly agreed.

Departure: the reserved room must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. If the room has not been vacated by this time, an additional fee of 40.00 € will be charged if the room is vacated after 11 a.m. but before 4 p.m.; if the room is vacated after 4 p.m., an additional  fee of 100% of the room rate (list price) will be charged.

Cancellation for bookings without arrangements:
Individual rooms i.e. 1-2 rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. In case of later cancellation or no-show we charge 80 % of the room rate.

Cancellation for bookings with arrangements:
The booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. In case of later cancellation or no-show we charge 80 % of the agreed price for rooms & services.

The following terms and conditions apply for cancellation of group arrangements, seminars and conferences:
Up to 28 days before arrival: free of charge
Up to 27 days before arrival: 40% of agreed price for rooms & services
Up to 14 days before arrival: 60% of agreed price for rooms & services
Up to 7 days before arrival: 80% of agreed price for rooms & services
No-show without notice: 100% of agreed price for rooms & services

Every effort will be made to re-let cancelled rooms in order to avoid the invoicing of cancellation fees. However, until contractually agreed rooms have been re-let, the ordering party shall be obliged to pay the amount due for the agreed letting duration and in accordance with the scale of charges set out above.

These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the accommodation contract and are deemed to have been accepted when the booking is made.
